麻豆直播 Board of Regents approves creation of two new auxiliary enterprises

MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� The 麻豆直播 Board of Regents, during its Sept. 18 meeting, approved the creation of two new, distinct auxiliary enterprises designed to accelerate growth, drive innovation and support the long-term success of 麻豆直播 and Murray State Athletics.
The new entities 鈥� Racer Enterprises, LLC, and Racer Sports & Entertainment, LLC 鈥� will provide strategic vehicles for developing new opportunities and partnerships while supporting the University鈥檚 continued investment in the student experience, academic profile and future growth.
Racer Enterprises, LLC, will serve as a University-focused enterprise, creating new pathways to meet the current and future demands of the modern higher education landscape. The enterprise will provide opportunities for innovation and strategic investment while supporting initiatives that benefit students, faculty and staff while enhancing Murray State鈥檚 academic profile nationally.
Racer Sports & Entertainment, LLC, will focus on supporting the future of Racer Athletics and its student-athletes and teams. The enterprise will also support efforts to enhance the fan experience and serve as a lead driver of the Racer Entertainment Village, which is envisioned as a vibrant, year-round live-work-play-cheer destination designed to serve the Murray State campus, the community and visitors while contributing to regional economic growth.

Together, Racer Enterprises and Racer Sports & Entertainment will provide additional opportunities for Murray State to explore innovative approaches to serving the University community and advancing its institutional and athletic priorities.
The University plans to engage leaders across campus to identify additional areas that may benefit from the creation of auxiliary enterprises as part of its continued strategic growth and innovation efforts.
The launch of the two enterprises reflects Murray State鈥檚 continued commitment to an innovative and strategic approach to higher education and intercollegiate athletics, while creating opportunities to benefit students, faculty, staff, alumni, supporters and the broader community.
